Lectors

Lectors proclaim the Word of God during the Liturgy, lead the General Intercessions, and read the announcements. A lector has a love of Holy Scripture and the liturgy, sufficient public speaking skills to proclaim the Word of God to the congregation, and the willingness to work on communication skills.

Lectors must have received the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. If married, you must have received the Sacrament of Marriage in the Catholic Church.
