These classes are conducted on Saturdays from 10 AM to 12 PM, except during the months of July through September. The class is free and books are provided. Students should come prepared with a pencil and paper. Some knowledge of English is helpful, but not required, to get the most out of this class. Knowledge of Spanish is preferred but not required for teachers.
A Citizenship Preparation Class is also offered on Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the Oscar Romero Room. Students must have a green card, be 18 years or older, and be able to speak, read, and write basic English. Students will study the required information for the interview and practice filling out the N-400 Application.
