St. Norbert Children's Faith Formation provides a parish religious education program for children (four years of age through 6th grade) who do not attend Catholic school. We use a liturgical-based program which focuses on the doctrine and teachings of the Catholic Church found in the Gospels of Jesus.
Our curriculum is based on Gospel Weeklies from Pflaum Publishing which connect the Gospel to Catholic doctrine. Centered on the Sunday Gospels, the five different levels teach children the Catholic Faith in ways that are engaging, meaningful, and age-appropriate. Take-home booklets make it easy to involve families in the spiritual formation of each child.
Classes meet in the parish school classrooms from late September through May. Classes are conducted in English. For Spanish language classes, please visit our Formación en la Fe page. Please contact Charlene Dumitru, Director of Adult Faith Formation, for information on Baptism preparation (R.C.I.C.) for children over the age of 7 who have not been baptized.
