My dear Parish Family,
It has been a very short amount of time that I have been your new Pastor and I wish to share with you what a joy it has been to be part of the St. Norbert’s family. You have welcomed me with your hearts, generous spirit and unending faith. Thank you!
A large part of the joy in being here is what I see most every day in the endless number of people participating at Mass and in our many ministries. What gives me hope is the love that our children in our parish school and our faith formation programs have for our Lord and His Church. Each person coming Together to our parish, shares their gifts of faith in everything they do. With this in mind, we chose our theme for this year’s PSA campaign, Together.
Indeed we come Together in countless ways – church, community, school and ministries! Each one is a visible sign of Christ’s love to each other in our parish and in our community.
Our Family & Youth Center continues to be a source of hope and ministry to so many. With this tremendous multipurpose facility also comes the responsibility to pay off the balance of our loan. We have come very far and it is my goal to have our loan to the Diocese paid as quickly as possible.
As you generously give your pledge this coming year, I also ask you to remember the Diocese of Orange who continues to serve so many ministries that we simply could not support in our own parish. Together, as one faith, we serve our greater community.
My hope for each of you is to find Christ’s love in your hearts this Easer season and every day. Together with Jesus’ love and His abundant joy for your life, we will continue to serve each other and so many in our community at St. Norbert’s. May the Lord bless our continued efforts as we use our new Family & Youth Center in its mission of service.
Your brother in Christ,
Rev. Fr. Patrick Rudolph
Pastor
