"...unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it
remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit." - John 12:24
Our lives are a mixture of life and death, growing and changing, beginning and ending. Our parish is the spiritual home in which faith can grow in so many different ways, and the Family & Youth Center is a vehicle for our parish to continue "growing in the life of Christ". We wish each of you a special blessing in growing in the life and love of Christ.
Construction on our Family & Youth Center began in June and is on schedule to be completed in the spring of 2008. Because of the material generosity of so many members of St. Norbert Parish, we were able to move forward on this with this long-awaited project.
Our parish is a part of the entire Diocese of Orange and, as such, we have a responsibility in meeting the needs of the diocese through the Pastoral Services Appeal. Once our fair share ($155,000) of the total diocesan goal is reached, the rest of the money that is raised will remain here for our Family & Youth Center. Last year St. Norbert’s was the second highest in the Diocese in pledge donations and second highest for the rebate back to our new building!
We invite you to join us in making a financial gift to our parish for our Family & Youth Center. It will bring abundant joy and new opportunities to grow.
Your brothers in Christ,
Msgr. John Urell, Pastor
Fr. Joseph Tran, Parochial Vicar
Fr. Benedict Yang, Parochial Vicar
Fr. Timothy Raemakers, Administrator Pro Tempore
